To ensure that field-collected data adheres to company standards and requirements, XMap 7 now includes the ability to apply attribute constraints. When used in a form, constraints can take the form of a dropdown list or open text entry with a visual cue displayed if entered values fall outside the limits of the constraint. In this map, a form has been developed to simplify access to data pertaining to oil & gas wells. The available dropdown list allows the field technician to quickly update the required information without having to manually type each name.
