For February’s Where on Eartha challenge, we visited Doha, capital and largest city in the peninsular nation of Qatar, situated in the Persian Gulf. The first correct entry randomly chosen belongs to Paul Mairose, Chief Engineer for the Southwest Clean Air Agency in Vancouver, Washington. Paul will shortly be utilizing his complimentary copy of XMap Professional and accompanying Earthmate® LT-40 GPS receiver to help the folks in the Pacific Northwest breathe a little easier.
This month's satellite image depicts another capital city seemingly surrounded by water. Name the city impaled by the pushpin along with the corresponding country and you could be our next winner.
