The vibrant city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands was the correct answer to May's Where on Eartha challenge. Famous for its canals, its culture, and its cannabis, the city attracts about three times its resident population in international visitors each year.

This month, we pay a visit to another national capital adjacent to an intricate system of waterways, although in this case they appear to be of the natural variety rather than canals.
