Diagnostic Installation For Windows® 7
The most common errors associated with any DeLorme® program are the result of other programs running in the background during installation. The procedure below uses the Microsoft System Configuration Utility (MSCONFIG) to temporarily disable most programs upon startup. Once the system is restarted in Normal Mode, the settings will revert to their default settings. While these steps are not always necessary, they are the first step in troubleshooting errors that may occur with DeLorme software.
