Product Donation Request Guidelines

DeLorme will accept written requests for product donations (for legitimate fund-raising activities) from non-profit, non-governmental organizations in the following areas:

DeLorme does not entertain requests to equip your school or organization. We will donate as prizes or for fund-raising purposes only. Earthmate® PN-Series GPS receivers are not available for donations.

Eligibility

Only non-profit organizations designated as tax-exempt by the IRS under Section 501 (c) (3) are eligible.
(exceptions - groups that may be ad hoc or loose-knit, but fit within our Target Markets as defined above).

Requirements

All requests must be submitted in writing. Phone requests will not be accepted. Requests submitted by mail or fax should be on your organization's letterhead and must provide an e-mail address for contact. Requests may also be submitted via e-mail, but must display your organization's letterhead or a link to its Web site.

When writing your request, be sure to verify your organization's tax exempt status (note exceptions above). In addition, please provide a concise explanation of your fund-raising objective.

 

Submit Requests

It is recommended that you submit your request at least 8-10 weeks in advance of your need-by date.

REMEMBER: DeLorme associates are not able to handle donations requests by phone. There are no exceptions.

 

Shipping Address

We will ship to your organization's address as it appears within your letterhead or in your Web site's contact information.

Restrictions

DeLorme will not grant requests from religious organizations or denominations, nor will requests be granted for fundraising in support of political objectives.

Disclaimer

DeLorme cannot possibly grant, much less respond to, all the requests that we receive. Follow-up contacts will not increase your chances. The fact that your organization received a product donation in a previous year or years does not automatically mean that your next request will be granted.
