Creating a High-Quality Map for Brochure Publication
Problem:
The agents in a small commercial real estate firm have become increasingly aware of the importance of presentation their marketing strategy. Not only does a high-quality property package attract buyers, it also shows potential sellers that you have access to the tools that will help them sell their property. In the commercial real estate sector, location is of the utmost importance. Where is the property in relation to other businesses? Is it close to transportation routes? Is the building on a major thoroughfare? All of these questions can be answered most effectively by looking at a map. Unfortunately the maps used by the firm to convey the location of their available properties, are not of the quality needed to attract serious inquiries from prospective clients.
Solution:
XMap 5.0 Professional is an inexpensive and easy-to-use mapping software program that can help any real estate firm, regardless of its size or technical ability, manage and share information about its properties in a whole new way. After installing XMap on the office computer, the agents realized that they could more efficiently manage their listing database by importing and displaying each property on the map. By downloading and importing high quality aerial imagery from the state GIS library, the actual building, not just the point at which it is located, could be seen, and the property boundary could be traced. With XMap’s advanced printing tools, professional quality maps were created that included text, photographs, and even the firm’s logo. XMap offers the option to save the map to a file rather than send it to a printer. This allows the firm to export high-resolution maps for inserting in their property brochures. The investment in XMap 5.0 Professional quickly paid dividends for the firm as the quality of the maps that were produced attracted both buyers and sellers.
